Flamegor Guide of BWL in World of Warcraft

8/19/2009 3:30:35 PM

In our site—Vcsale, we have introduce some guide of Blackwing Lairs in WoW, such as Razorgore the Untamed guide, Vaelastrasz the Corrupt guide and Ebonroc Guide etc. We hope these guide will help you complete BWL easily and quickly, of course, gain a large of WoW currency (copper, silver and WoW gold) is the best. Here we are going to talk about Flamgor guide which is the sixth boss in Blackwing Lair. You only read our guide, and then you are able to get much World of Warcraft gold and experience!

Flamegor is a copy of Ebonroc but with the ability to frenzy instead of heal himself. If you have defeated Ebonroc, you still can win Flamegor and gain the rewards including WoW gold, infrequent items, exclusive equipments and experience (WoW power leveling). So you need your Hunters to set up a “tranq shot rotation” similar to what you do in Molten Core. Basically anytime he enrages you need to tranq shot him, so an order of Hunters need to be set-up to ensure he can be tranq shotted anytime he does it. Outside of that he’s pretty much the exact same thing but with the need to have Fire Resist on everyone since when he enrages he does a “Fire Nova” attack that hits everyone around him, but is easily negated by fire resist.

With Flamegor down, it’s only an issue of clearing to Chromaggus, the second to last boss of Blackwing Lair. If you hope to defeat the sixth boss, you should know its abilities firstly. General speaking, players hope to get more WoW money and exclusive items as you enter into this instance. If you are lack of WoW gold, welcome buy WoW gold from us!

Abilities of Flamegor

Wing Buffet: Knocks back the target, doing damage and reducing aggro.
Shadow Flame: Ability shared with Firemaw, Ebonroc and Nefarian. Deals about 3,938 - 5,062 cone-shaped shadow damage and is not partially resistable. Furthermore, it has a Damage over Time effect (Shadow Flame) on its target for 1,750 - 2,250 damage per second for 10 seconds unless the recipient is wearing an Onyxia Scale Cloak.
Enrage: Used every 10-15 seconds. Must be removed by a Hunter using Tranquilizing Shot.
Fire Nova: Inflicts approximately 550 fire damage to all raid members. This ability is used roughly every five seconds and only when Frenzied.
Thrash: Gives Flamegor 2 extra attacks, hitting the tank in rapid succession.
When you have prepared World of Warcraft gold and other items, read the following strategy of Flamegor.

Strategy of Flamegor

The fight is in many ways more simple than Firemaw as the debuff does not stack and therefore tanks do not need to hide to lose debuff stacks. He only does the Fire Nova when enraged, which can be dispelled by Tranquilizing Shot. Flamegor will enrage every 10 to 15 seconds, so it is critical that multiple hunters have a well-coordinated Tranquilizing Shot rotation. Otherwise he does no more damage than Ebonroc. Tank him like Firemaw, the enrage debuff can get 1,000+ damage on your raid if not dealt with fast enough. Have a dedicated healer for the off tanks and hunters, they will be taking the most fire and won't have time to care for themselves.
