How to Get Rich in Hellgate: London

Hellgate: London is a dark fantasy themed action role-playing game. There are a series of secret achievements you can unlock if you complete specific tasks. You can earn the "Rich Man" achievement by collecting 35,000 pieces of palladium (the unit of currency in the game world) and never buying anything. If you want to get rich in-game but still confessed about what to do, please read on.

Earn "Rich Man" achievement in 7 steps:
*Start a new game and choose any class you like for your character.
*Enter any area that has roaming monsters and wipe them all out. Collect the palladium pieces they drop and leave the area. Then return so the monsters re-spawn and you can repeat the process.
*Break every object you come across that can be broken, such as boxes, pipes, wood planks and barrels. Some of them contain extra palladium pieces.
*Go the merchant in the nearest tunnel station and sell all of the items you found while hunting down monsters.
*Do not buy any items, and do not use the modification machines that upgrade items.
*Continue the process of collecting more money until you have gained 35,000 palladium pieces to earn the "Rich Man" achievement.

Breaking Down Items Into Components：
There are basically two kinds of currency at use in Hellgate: Palladium (cash) and components. Palladium is found throughout the game world; many enemies will drop it, and it’ll also be found in the barrels and boxes that you’ll wind up smashing. Components, however, can only be found in one way: by breaking down items that you find. When you find an item that you don’t need or can’t use, hold down your right mouse button while hovering over it, then move your cursor up over the screw icon there. You’ll need to confirm that you wish to break down the item, because doing so completely destroys it. You’ll lose the item itself and gain raw components. (Low-level items will break down into palladium instead, but this is a pretty rare occurance at higher levels.) It’s almost always preferable to break down items into components instead of selling them at the vendor: palladium is pretty commonplace in the game, and the fact that you can break down items in the field will prevent you from needing to warp back to town every time your inventory gets filled up. The components you get will be worth far more to you than the cash will be.
