NCsoft Profits Decrease 50% in Q3

NCsoft Profits falls 50% in the earning of Q3. Thanks to a slower summer the Korean MMO specialist saw its earnings decline in the third quarter. Among its popular games Tabula Rasa was the publisher's worst performer.

The Korean MMO publisher issued its third-quarter fiscal results, showed the net income won 5 billion that is $3.69 million. This figure declined a 50 percent from 10.1 billion won. Sales also fell two percent to 78.2 billion won and operating profit dropped 53 percent to 4.6 billion won. NCsoft management indicated that it's hopeful that the company will rebound in the fourth quarter with the launch of Aion.
