The faction change service is only available to WoW US currently, so if you are an EU player, have a little patience. Hopefully, Europe will have it very soon. Faction change costs $30.00, EACH. Some player thinks it is a little bit pricy, but it’s worthy of switching from Horde to Alliance (or Alliance to Horde) with the ability to change anything else you could change through a character recustomization. Isn't it?
All achievements and quest lines relating to the Argent Tournament are reset when a characters uses the Faction Change service. Players'home city reputation level will translates into the same level of the new opposition race. Please notice, after purchasing a Faction Change for a character, a player can choose any race of the opposite faction that is compatible with the character's class, but the change process is not immediate. Generally, it will take under an hour but we cannot exclude the possibility that it will take several days to complete sometimes. You are able to change one character to the opposite faction once every 60 days.
A race change in World of Warcraft will be available in the future. Blizzard has made such a decision based on further community feedback. Players who choose to switch races will be able to change their race within their same faction and class. We will keep an eye on this news.
